Help TreeHugger.com Win The Webby Award

In Uncategorized on April 22, 2012 at 7:03 PM

Known as the “Oscars of the Internet”, The Webby Awards recognize the best of the best in the world wide web. Since 2008, Emma Grady has been pounding the pavement as a fashion correspondent at TreeHugger.com and she’s asking for your help–and your vote–to help the Discovery-owned site go home with the gold. Here’s how you can help (via TreeHugger.com):

On this page (the green category) click ‘sign in‘ if you already have an account or ‘sign up to vote‘ if you don’t. It’s very easy since you can sign in with a Facebook, Twitter, or Google account. And then you can click on the TreeHugger logo (twice to confirm your vote).  Voting ends on April 26, 2012.

The Webby Award and Webby People’s Voice Award Winners will be announced on May 1, 2012 and winners will be honored at the 16th Annual Webby Awards in New York City–and live streamed on webbyawards.com–on May 21, 2012.

Emma Finds “Stylish Summer Staples” on Fashioning Change

In News on March 24, 2012 at 6:29 PM

Fashioning Change called upon Emma’s style expertise for a feature look currently featured on their site. Comprised of wardrobe staples that can be worn year-round, Emma selected pieces that won’t be going “out of season” any time soon.

Emma loves pairing unexpected patterns and prints like a black and white pleated gingham skirt with camouflage ballet flats that juxtapose a feminine style and a masculine print. Worn together, the look is classic, yet on-trend, and ideal for a hot summer day.
